Dentist phobia

Have to go and suffer 'lift off' in the Dentist chair and I'm terrified!!!!

Say no more.

Florrie, I to am not a happy camper at the Dentists office. There are some Dentists that actually cater to people that are terrified. They can give you a pill to relax you & put you in the twilight zone where nothing matters, or if you choose some even put you out all together. You may want to check this out with the Dentists in your area. I took the pill approach, it was great I was in the twilight zone with no worries!

I too have a terrible fear of dentists. The kids get their teeth cleaned and I break out in a cold sweat. I think of it this way, if I'm in pain, what is a few seconds more of pain when it'll finally give me much needed relief.

Well You can lose all your teeth, and but them in a container every night.. ;)

This is the 21st Century folks... Find a dentist that can put in to dream mode, not fuss, and your done.

Or find a Dentist that doesn't give you shots that hurt. My dentist is a gentle as a lamb...

No one likes going to the DENTIST..!! The alternative is DENTURES... Not an option in my life. ;)

So take care of your teeth.. Like my dentist says to me, when I ask him about flossing. His comment is always the same "YOU ONLY HAVE TO FLOSS THE ONES YOU WANT KEEP"
ALOHA!!

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

Dentist phobia

I have not been to the dentist since mine died.

My old dentist would shake in his hands and I would be praying that I did not have any cavities.

He sold his busisness to a new younger guy.

The younger guy died in a car wreck. I found out when I went to the appointment.

Figured the family would re-sell the busisness and that I would get a call to schedule an appointment.

No call ever came.

Was going to go the the dentist when I got on with the state as I have free dental coverage.

But I still have not gone. It has been over a decade since I've gone to the dentist how bad is that?
