Hi Everybody! My name is Rachel (hence my user name). I found this place yesterday. I haven't really had a chance to look around the forum but it seems pretty cool. I guess I should tell you a little about myself, incase you don't want to read my profile...:rolleyes: My birthday is coming up in a little less than two weeks, I'm in Texas, I'm married (no kiddos), I'm a fan of Supernatural, Deadwood, & Forensic Science shows. I'm pretty open when it comes to music, but I am going through a phase where I'm listening to certain singers/bands over and over: The Fray, James Blunt, Lifehouse, Coldplay, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Beatles are probably my favorite kind of music though, of all time.:-4 I'm real into reading and writing (ha, don't ask me about this too much, I may like to write a lot, but I never said I was good at it) and I'm a movie fanatic (to name a few favorites: The Break Up, Failure To Launch, Kung Fu Hustle, Bruce Lee flicks, and good horror films, which are hard to find). I'm looking for a job currently, so wish me luck!!! I'm pretty friendly, so don't hesitate to post to me some time! Okay, I'm sure I've bored you all enough... the kind ones who took the time to read this...

Hey, we love newbies. You've got a lot to learn about this place and the wonderful people here who make FG what it is. It's got a very family feel to it. You'll really enjoy yourself if you stick around.

Okay... I'm a little weirded out... I should have known this was some type of cult... :-3 It's worse than Amway for sure... Hmmm... Well, I hope that you do get your new computer... lately this one has been acting up and it's very frustrating... :-5 I keep thinking that if I do give in and slam it against the wall like it seems to be begging for me to do to it... it may work even less...

Oh Yeah... I said Amway... any of you come for me to try and season me up and grill me... I will pull out the Amway book... the Amway motivational tapes... Oh yeah... Oh, thank you also for not mentioning the whole BBQ thing... I'm going to be visiting my parents this coming weekend and staying for a month there and what I love the most is my Dad's BBQ but with all the cannibal talk lately concerning yours truly... I may pass on the whole grilling thing and stick with cold sandwiches :p Someone likes my humor? Well alright... this will be the first in awhile... most just think I'm an odd duckling... *shivers away bad elementary memories*... Well, I think I should get offline now... I think it's unhealthy for me to be on here so much... it's to the point when I look at things outside of the computer screen... they appear to me in The Matrix form...

Hello Sarah... let me start off by telling you that I'm deeply jealous of you and the attention you've gotten... I put up an introduction of myself yesterday and you have 3 pages vs. my 2 pages and I've written in it like 3 times... :-5 All jealousy aside... I hope you enjoy posting here... I feel like I've been here awhile because I've been running around like crazy posting in different threads... the folks here seem to be a friendly bunch... don't let them try and scare you away with their odd talk of tenderizing and grilling... pssst... it has to do something with Amway I think... anyhoo, hope you have a lovely day...

I am sorry, Nomad, that in my natural state of craziness I've seem to have offended you... no, I posted on a thread to a newbie like myself, so I thought... unless I went into the wrong thread... it was a lame attempt at being funny... I am truly sorry for upsetting you, so it seems... Hi Rachel and welcome!!! I'm a Deadwood fan too!!! Must admit to being a little startled at first and I learnt loads of new words. Aussies don't startle very easily. I won't mention barbies, and promise to protect you agains BAD Nomad and BADDER BabyRider - not that you need protection if you have an Amway motivational tape in your possession. (They're great guys!!!) Why don't you send a copy of that tape to Tom Cruise. Broaden him a bit... but I digress. I was gonna behave and be totally pussycat like. Catch you again later, I gotta run!

It's a very long time since anyone in here has actually been barbecued........... We did once toss someone into a volcano to appease the Management Force... Mmmmm.... and I think we tarred and feathered someone the other day, but nar.. nobody's been tossed on the barbie. Still, it is the solstice ....... DEEP THOUGHT. Nar - I'm going to lead the way. FGers can resist temptation. And there's the Amway angle to consider....

Seriously - it does sound rather hot over your way. Midwinter here of course and very chilly. Ski season has begun.. ..... o joy o delight!

And I agree, BR... Rachel is gonna fit right in here.... wicked grin.
