As Minks has recently been posting some FABULOUS piccies from her trip, and as she posted some gorgeous ones of the stunning Canadian scenery near her, I thought y'all might like to see a little of the scenery from the area I live in.

It's not as majestic as Minks' pix as we just have soft rolling downlands, but I found a lovely site with some lovely pics which I'd like to share with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed all your pics.

Oh and PS, I didn't take any of the pics cos mine always come out blurry! Enjoy!

Hampshire is beautiful. Some years ago I got ill in London with pneumonia and got sent to recuperate to relatives in Beech, near Alton. I couldn't believe the beautiful countryside.. bluebell woods at the bottom of the garden, still with traces of snow... the bridle paths, streams, ivy covering an old ruined abbey, the tiny beautiful unAustralian birds. Worth getting sick for. Grin.

Me too, but I hope my memory of Corfe Castle of many years ago is no longer true. Climbing up to the castle, we found the whole area strewed with rubbish, and no-one seemed to be looking after it. I think it was privately owned - maybe all is changed. Hope so!
