if you don't post, and don't visit, then effectively you've canceled your subscription. as a non-paying member, you have no obligations. so really, there's nothing to unsubscribe to. if the site isn't your cup of tea.....then if you don't come here, it ceases to exist for you.

I've been sucked through a cyber vacuum into a world beyond comprehension where strange letters keep typing their way into my screen!!

i would be curious to know what in particular you don't like about forumgarden. but you've no obligation to answer. we get many new signups each day, and not everyone sticks around. it's a big internet.

also, now you've started threads you should go to "My Settings" and remove thread subscriptions to stop email notification (if it's on)

but you're doing great already! started a new thread, replied to it - you have the basic skillset to be a forumgarden regular, and i'm not being facetious!

along the 'top' of the page, underneath our logo, you'll see a row of yellowish links - click on 'today's posts' and you'll see the currently active conversations. click on one that might seem interesting. read. reply if inclined. if you want to discuss something specific - say you're interested in new music - you could click on the 'home' link in that same row, and have a look at the list of major subforums - you'll see 'arts & entertainment' and underneath that, 'music forum'. there you can start a topic about anything having to do with music.

gee, this is sounding like a hard-sell. not meant to be....

You've overcome the biggest fear factor, making the first post. If that was the only reason for leaving then definitely stick around.

Meh, you should hang around a while, I think. It's a great place. You'll get the hang of navigating. Just click around, I promise you can't break it :D

Welcome, for however long your visit may be.

I'm with you Pinky. I think there must be background here to which we are not party to it.. grin... If that isn't the case, then this thread surely must win the surreality prize, hands down..
