Mmmmmmm. I could really go for an anchovy pizza today.

Is there anyone in the Garden who would split one with me?

Best pizza I ever ate had blue cheese on it!!! YUM. But anchovies are good too. And all the other stuff. Deep thought!!!

!!!! That really is my favourite pizza - and I've made myself starving just contemplating it's glory. Thin crust is good. In fact I use pitta bread.

Back to the pizza:

Any and EVERYTHING on it (yes, even anchovies!!)....extra cheese, deep dish. I think I just figred out what's for dinner. Too bad it's only 9:00 am, or I'd be chowing on some right now!

It's twue it's twue. Now, if I can just interest you in a little bubbly to

wash it down with... there's something about the combo of the saltiness

of the chovies and the bubbles in the champers... yum. Same can be said

for caviar and bubbly.

Yikes it's a little too early in the day for me to even be contemplating

Val, I also love champagne and caviar. I drink champs regularly (perhaps too regularly:-3)!!

I like salmon roe a lot; in fact, I just bought six 8-oz tins of it!

Salty and bubbly: a great combination indeed:)

Val, speaking of caviar: I only eat the cheapie stuff -- salmon roe. Do you eat the pricey stuff? Would it be worth my while to give it a taste?

If so, where do you purchase it? I get mine online through eBay. I've tried others, but this one tastes the very best to me. Plus, it comes in those great caviar tins. I love them!

I consider it the cheapie stuff... and I always got it at Cost Plus,

believe it or not. Not sure how much it is now, but I think it used to

be around $8 for one of those small jars...

I get an 8 oz. tin of salmon roe for $11.00. They mail it in a styrofoam cooler with cooler packs inside to keep the temperature down.

Granted, you have to pay for next-day shipping since it has to stay refrigerated, so that jacks the price way up.

What can I say? I like imy caviar and champagne:)

My hubby calls me "Champagne Wifey" all the time!

I think I may be the one here who has never tried caviar! So I am not sure if I would like it or not. I just ate sushi for the first time a year or so ago, and I do like it. I just do not put the wasabi sauce on it!!:(

I think I like the idea of caviar, Marie, better than the actuality. It goes really well with the idea of vintage French champagne, and the idea of a really hunky, devoted rich Frenchman to sip it with......
