Hey, Snooze...do you keep a running calendar of all the events happening in the lives of the FG members?

Thanks guys! Ya'll are tops!

The first day was interesting, to say the least. Twenty minutes after I walked in the door, one of the guys that was to work for me .... quit.

Trimming away all the sordid details - there were many; most were sordid - His wife is moving to Dallas with or without him and taking their 3 kids with her. I'd be gone, too.

The guy that's left has an attitude problem concerning customer service, but it's nothing I haven't dealt with before. The warehouse & logistics I will be in charge of is functioning, and has just enough confusion and chaos that I can make a quick, positive impact.

At the end of the day, I have an 8 to 5, Monday through Friday job for the first time in my life.

I'm not sure how to behave. :-2

There's a new Pirates of the Caribbean film to be released shortly on the suspecting public. Some gutwrenching new deep sea monsters. Possibly haggis. And of course Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.

Orlando Bloom.....mmmmmm....second on my 'hunks' list after David Beckham.

We tried interviewing a couple of people with no luck. I convinced them to let me have a tech from another dept who was having trouble learning the job. He just wasn't getting it. Now he's happy to have a chance at something else, I have someone who's already familiar with at least some of the processes, and the other dept is free to find a more qualified tech.

Wins all round!

Lots of studying to learn the new laws and procedures. I've never worked bio-tech before. The paperwork is ridiculous!

But, it's 8-5, no weekends. Lots of time for other pursuits.
