new member, late starter

hey all feels like a first day at school, reading all the chat and thinking 'what if noone talks to me' 'what to say' etc figured id ask advice see if anyone can shed any light on the chaos and confusion that is my life...

what immediately comes to mind is first - guy im seeing got girlfriend, makes me bad person right but have tried to get rid he keeps coming back.. an no rudies yet either. so its been a year, he hasnt left girlfriend and wont leave me alone.. what think???

second and been a bug bear all day - what crisps go with cheese sandwiches?? friend had cheese and onion crisps with cheese sandwiches, surely thats too much cheese???
