This is the time of year when artists make their rounds on the circuit. Does anyone enjoy these ? My wife and I have made some great finds and we love going. Sculptors, painters, woodwork artisans, mandolin players selling their music.....something for everyone if you like art. Off to a big one this morning.

Do ya ? Huh.... do ya ?

Im sure theres one in your town today on the 4th. You can discover some really fantastic things. We have some paintings and burled walnut boxes and other things we will treasure for life.

I have the advantage of a resident artist in the form a my daughter. I have no more room for any artistic piece-I keep the majority of her works in every nook and cranny of the house-she will need them next year for her senior show.

Are you going to get another great print like you did the last time?:)

You wont find prints at the festivals bunny. Original works are much more interesting.

I was thinking of the one you brought home, that Laser didn't like. :wah:

Original works are much better, it is amazing what the creative mind can conjure into a concrete form or image. I am always amazed my daughter can do what she does, I can draw a good stick figure!

when we lived in Florida, a local winery would have an art & craft festival a few times a year with live music, food, drinks, etc., they were fun! I miss that.

:( We don't have anything like that on the 4th.

Hubby and I love going to festivals like that.

There's a great one in Florida in April called "The Delray Affair" (in Delray Beach, Florida, which is between Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale on the southeast coast).

It's huge! It runs for three days and the artwork offered is ecclectic and often one-of-a-kind. It's so much fun to walk around and take in all the sights.
