TOM Brought the House Down!
TOM Brought the House Down!
Last night we went to see "TOM JONES" perform live on stage. Our seats were in the center & "five rows" from the stage! (We were so close, could see him sweat under the hot spotlights) His 1-1/2 hr performance was outstanding, as he "brought the "10,000" packed seats house down"! Women (and some men) were standing out in the isles, screaming and singing and dancing, then yelling deafening shrill howles that hurt my ears! Some women ran up and threw their "underwear" on the stage, like always! Definately, TOM still has got IT! My wife was the TJ fan, (not me) so we went for her,
but at the end of the show, I would up yelling & giving TOM a standing ovation myself!

Yes chonsi, I initially went for her, but I wound up enjoying the concert as much as she did. (Side note, neither of "us" threw our underwear up at him! :p )

I saw him on on PBS once and I became a fan, he smokes...the man can really belt them out. A couple of weeks ago Martin Scorceces Blues movie was on and they showed Tom Jones w/ Van Morrison, that was way cool.
I AM AWESOME MAN

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

Yep, he did that one too, along with (my favorite) Delilah, as well as She's a lady, What's new pussycat, Green Green Grass of Home, I'll Never fall in love again, and so many others, too many to mention. He really was outstanding!

I went to see him back in the 70's. My mom really liked him, and when he came to Buffalo in concert she and a couple of her friends want to go see him. But, since they did not know how to get to the concert hall, my mom bought me a ticket, also, and I drove them.

Sometimes people that don't like Tom, perfered Engelbert instead. I used to only like Englebert back when, (& not Tom) but now after seeing Tom live, I like now both Englebert & Tom.
