I've tried to make sense of this one, and failed. Maybe after consuming the contents it may become clearer, or not.
My hubby bought a bottle of Woodstock Black Label Bourbon. It was quite a cheap one so we were'nt expecting very much. However, it's quite a decent drink, very similar to a JD. Anyhow, I'm deviating here.
This is what it said on the label .....
Genuine Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Distilled and Matured in Kentucky
Distributed in the UK by Independent Distillers
Product of Australia
Produced in Australia by Independent Distillers
Well, is it just me, or is that as clear as mud?
It must be you - I find it perfectly clear.
First the Independant distillers of Australia produced it - after drinking all that XXXX it must have been easy.
Then they distilled it in Kentucky and kept it for a week or two (first time I read that I must confess I thought it said manured - it would go well with the method of production)
Then they shipped it to the UK where the Independant Distillers distributed it.
The next stages are for us to produce it again and ship it off to Poland where they'll distill it again and send it on to Canada as Vodka.
