Buddy List

If I choose a name to add to the buddy list, what does it mean?

Also if I add a name to the ignore list, I understand that I will not see their posts.

Will they be able to see mine?

Having Buddies on your list shows you when they are online on the home page, and other people can see who you're linked to by viewing the "friends" button in the grey area of all the posts you make.

And yes, people you put on ignore will still be able to read what you write.

The linked to list is your buddy list plus some others who don't look likely to be your ignore list. Just curious.

Good heavens!! I just actually looked at my Buddy List, which is a very interesting historical document these days and tells me I'm 84% linked to or from or something. In other words, I'm gonna go and tidy it up some... grin.
