Apart from newsgroups this is the only forum I use so I don't have much to compare with.

I've been here less than two months. Seems like way more!

I did, of course, lurk for awhile before getting my courage up to join the Garden.

I had a wonderful trip down memory lane looking for older members. I even emailed a few and told them to come and check out the changes.

Peg, have things really changed here over time? I'm a relative newbie so I wouldn't know.

What kinds of changes have taken place?

The pager, games, rpg, buddy lists, etc. Even back then we had a person I think may have been the reason some of them left. I think now the garden has the best group it's ever had.

It is interesting how forums change over time. I, also am one of the newer arrivals, but it seems I have been here forever. I am impressed at how new folks are made to feel so welcome.

this is the first poll ive put up & i will certainly be paying more attention to detail in any future one's

ahh you are forgiven, as it's been an interesting topic, perhaps admin could do as has been mentioned prior, make a curve graph of sign up dates. Seems like recently we have had a mad flood of great newbies again and the stats would be interesting.
