You just have to remember if you can laugh at yourself you will have fun.

Hey tip number 2, if they issue a bowling shirt... sew sequins on it, you will look right smart out there on the lanes

I have one vanity..my nails. How long do you suppose those critters are gonna last? I garden without gloves and never break them.. I tear apart computers and printers every day and never break one... buck up sweetie you never know you may find yourself to be an eloquent bowler with lovely fluffy style and the nails will do just fine.... besides if your nails are too long to fit in those finger holes you may want to reconsider your choice of recreational sports.

That's easy Flop, just find a ball "without" holes! :p

As far as talking to strangers, after your first Strike, or Gutter ball, which ever occurs first, that will be the Ice Breaker that will get the conversations rolling (excuse the pun) along!
