I haven't been sunburnt this year....I'm on holiday next week so I may get a chance to do a bit of sunbathing....with loads of factor 20 cream though.

sun burn is not a good thing....not only is it painful, but seriously damages your skin, so take care 'out there' !:-6

I never used to get sun burnt as a kid, I would always go brown - now I go red. I'm really p****d off about that.

Ah well, a few more nights kipping in the tent won't hurt.:D

Helefra

I do that all the time

It really bothers my husband, as I often don't pull the window blinds

As I say to hubby, "If any of the neighbors want to gaze at a 44-year-old body, good luck to them!" :)

As my home state is the definition of heat, as in "Hotter than the hinges to gates of hell," I can tell you some things about sun burn. Send pictures of all areas of concern.

Bloody heck Fisher, sounds as bad as the storms you may get in Wales - although the most damage that storms here can do is knock out the electricity!:yh_worryThis storm woke me up around 1.AM and it was one of the worst I have seen in years. It did not hit anything in my Village but 21 km away I think it it three houses.

There was thunder and lightening but no rain and it kept me awake all night, I was so tired in the morning someone would have thought I had been at it all night long.:yh_rotflFortunately this was a fast moving storm so it only kept me awake for a bit over a hour.

I talked to a co worker in Limestone Maine today. He said the lightning was sideways across the sky.
