And me. Fairly easy to learn the lyrics too. Saw AWB do a brilliant song on the OGWT once and I've often wondered what it was called. Anyone know?

....who knows, maybe the weren't ready then for someone that looked liked Uncle Ernie from, Tommy givin' it large on the pervi front lol.
I did notice that the Germans had their firm favs though, Rory Gallagher, Wishbone Ash, Family, and all the other mainstream rock bands, etc, I remember them sing along to the rock bands better known material.....but with Ian Dury, and newer bands (at that time) it was too strange for them. 'wot a waste! lol

Talking about which I just bought "The Who at The Isle Wight 1970" on DVD for £5.99 in HMV. A real bargain at that price and a great perfomance to boot. Then I saw them on TV at the "T in the Park" festival from up in Scotland, where they sang "See Mee Feel Me", which was so pathetic it was embarrassing. I think they should have quit while they were ahead. Allan Clarke of the Hoillies had the good grace to quit when he knew he couldn't sing any longer and he leaves only fond memories behind. Daltrey will now leave sad ones.
