Hope you're in the fluffy white clouds part of Cornwall.
Theia and I looked at that this morning, we are in the fluffy white clouds part of Cornwall. Would you like to give them a ring for us and let them know it's actually overcast and threatening to rain! :wah:

They should stay that way then, our problem is people (mostly holiday-makers) who think aahhhh they're lovely, lets feed them.

Rats on wings, they are evil! Although I have to say it is 'man' that has made them this way. You cannot walk along our streets any more with food in your hands, the gulls will swoop down and steal it out of your hand.
I think that man has made them like himself (or herself)...before our interference, or even sometimes now when they're doing their own thing and soaring in the heights, they were/are magnificent birds. But now they seem to be a sad reflection of the worst of human egos (Just keep your eye open for me tomorrow in Truro, Betty, in case I threaten to swoop on some poor unsuspecting baguette.)

I couldn't work out why we used to get seagulls inland. I found out eventually that they congregated around the land fill sites used for burying household waste. You sure don't want to be bitten by a seagull that's been scavenging around a landfill.

Another hot, humid day here again. We really need some rain. No matter how much I water the flowers, cukes, and tomatoes, nothing like a good rain for them. I worry every day when my husband goes to work. If it's 90 degrees out, it more than likely is 150 in the plant where he works.

Because it's the hottest day in the UK for a century, I opened my car windows as I left work to let the incredibly hot air out. After driving a bit, I closed the windows then popped the Air-conditioning on. Just before I got home, I noticed a huge splatter of bird poo all down the inside of the passenger door, and across the seatbelt and passenger seat. All I can say is it must have been a huge bird with dysentry, although on a positive note, it was good to see evidence of more than the recommended daily intake of roughage.
Maybe it was a fat gull from Cornwall :-3

:wah: Kram likes brown if I remember correctly. I think he'll want a tri-coloured one for seagull poo, though.

There used to be a maximum. But even the minimum temperature is ignored now unless there's a union presence.
As I work by contract, I don't get paid if I don't work for whatever reason.
