Are You Ready to meet the Grim Reaper
As I've gotten older, I've reached a feeling of acceptance over the things I cannot control. Death, of course, is the biggie of the group.
I don't fear death. I can't say that I welcome it with open arms, but whatever will be, will be.
Why would I want to waste my time, emotions and thought on something over which I have no power?

I don't fear death, like I don't think most people fear death.
I fear the way I die.

Am I ready? No way! I have too many things I want to do yet. Am I afraid? No. My concience is clean. But there is still too much I need to accomplish yet. 43 is far too young to be thinking about giving up the ghost. God says I have 70 years to my credit. I intend to hold Him to that!;)

Are You Ready to meet the Grim Reaper
Ever since that day I thought I'd probably die of meningitis, I've kept my (financial/legal) affairs in order, so I needn't worry about leaving a mess behind. But, as far as being ready to say goodby to all the people and things I love....
Not just no but HELLL, NO! I intend to go to my death wearing something sexy, having great purfume and smiling because I just saw my "squeeze." I want a "magnificent run" and all the joyful experiences life can provide!
I'm not done yet, thanks.

Nooo no I am not ready yet, too many people I want to meet first before him. I have only just come into my own so he can just step aside for now. I have grans on both sides of my family who lived late into their 80's and early 90's I am going to do so as well.
Am I afraid, gosh I hope I won't have to be afraid, ie suffer a lingering illness that leaves me with nothing but time to stew. I hope when it comes time it comes swiftly.

Awww...Woppy stole my answer. I have always been more afraid of the way I would die. But otherwise, I am ready.

Ready? How does a person become ready to meet their Maker? No, I'm not ready to die, although some days it feels like I could do it gladly. I'm not afraid of dying, and I'm really not that afraid of HOW I'll die. It's like Chonsi said, I worry more for who I'll leave behind. After the things I've seen and done....sheeeeeeit, death don't look half bad!! I've already seen hell!!

Well being dead is probably not an ideal situation, but apparently its unaviodable using our current religious technology, so I am ready to go along with it, the actual dying bit seems a bit grim.
I'm 34 now so I should have a few months left, but it would be nice to stick around on the odd chance that god might have a change of heart and ease off on the whole "dying" thing. I would say the chances are fairly slim on that one, so if i can't be around for the day of judgement (come to think of it that might be better for me) I wouldn't mind if Villa might win the Premier league at least once before I become an ex-person.

I can't say that I'm ready to die yet...but I'm not afraid. I've always said I'll live to be 103 and be shot by a jealous wife. :yh_devil

Are You Ready to meet the Grim Reaper
I've got a 10 year old son. So.........NO, I'm not ready yet.
You know what I find interesting? Is that almost everyone will tell you "I hope I just go in my sleep." Yet when a family member is at death's doorstep, many people find it impossible to just let them go in their sleep.
Just a thought to ponder.
