Ghee, last time I was invited to a soiree-did I spell that right?-it took 30 minutes for them to stick me with the orchestra and I stayed there the whole time.

I was loaned some white elbow-length kid gloves once... they had the

What's the difference between a dance and a ball, anyway?

Will you wear a tiara? I'll bet Queen Eliz. would lend you some of HER stuff!

Will you have glass slippers?

Do they feed you? How can you eat in those long gloves?

Will they dance the "hokey pokey?" The limbo?

Inquiring minds (who've obviously never BEEN to a ball) want to know!

I swear I only got invited because of the entertainment value of the last one...

I am a sucker for dares, especially when I'm a bit squiffy.

There were auctions going on, and some poor sod paid £500 quid for an eight-foot teddy bear, which then got danced around the floor by me while everyone was eating:-3 But they dared me to!!!

Hopefully I'll keep myself under control this time, but don't hold your breath!:sneaky:
