Optimist. Hubbie is the pessimist. Its quite fun actually when we are both waiting for the results of any given situation, for example, insemination...

Annabelle tends to be rather pessimistic, whereas I am pretty opimistic. So, between the two of us we tend to have a full glass. :wah:

It all depends on how much you have left in the bottle after you have half filled the cup. I'm a pragmatist, so I'm optimistic about things that are likely, but pessimistic about things which are not. Say for instance, war now I am optimistic that the current war will end, as they inevitably do. However, I am also pressimistic that another one will not start up again somewhere else, as they also tend to do that. Like the cup and glass its all perspective, plus probability and time.

Don't stop using those colloquialisms Pinky....I know what you're talking about, and anyway, it's fun explaining to our American brothers and sisters. :)

I agree with this whole-heartedly. If you stop typing like you talk, and try to sound like *everyone else* this place will become real vanilla, real fast. I love how you *talk,* Pinkster!! I love how all our friends from across the pond talk!!

As to the original question: I am normally an optimist. Yeah, even now I am, because to give in to the defeat is not an otion. Even though I just lost my job, I have to believe there is a reason for it, and where I end up will be better for me. :)
