I heard the song on the radio the other morning. Thought it was hysterical.
Funny thing is, you hear about so many folks who love the "original" song...such a beautiful love song. But it is basically a song sung by some loser who saw a woman on the train..once...and seems to be hoplessly in love with her.
Some folks hear the song and say love song..I hear it and think...obsessed stalker. Oh well..just my opinion.

I like the way Wierd Al did the "false start" thing at the beginning. What's up with that? In the original it always sounds like he started singing too soon..and they never bothered to edit it out.

I really like the way that 'Al tries to get the voices sounding original. The music is always spot on.
But the lyric changes really crease me up.
One of his best ones to my mind was "Amish Paradise." A total re-working of Coolio's "Gangsters Paradise." That was one of the funniest things I had heard in ages.
The guy is a master mimic, and a good "alternative" lyric writer.

Yeah, what Hugh said. I will have to agree with you about Amish paradise..I liked that one alot, also. I have just heard this new one once so far, so I have not had the opportunity to really listen. But I think I will like it as well.

Hey now I love that song, and just waiting till I can get James Blunt to sing it to me personally.
