Rude awakenings.. grin.. One of my workmates used, as a sideline, to pilot hot air balloons - and delighted in swooping low by my bedroom window in those early dawn hours beloved by balloonists. You know how the fire thing under the balloon sounds kinda like heavy breathing ...................

Actually just this morning. Cold, wet nose, right in the ear with little snuffling sounds. Strange moggy of mine. :yh_bigsmi

I was at the house in the country, many years ago. We had open windows. In the middle of a dark night, something was breathing massive amounts of hot breath on my foot. I was awake but very still. Whe I sat up shouting, the horse hit his head on the window and I could hear hoves pounding the dirt as my heart raced. That was the worse wake up, ever.

What was your most pleasant wake up?:p

Well that is just a great way to start my day! A nasty little dart from one I love so much. I think I'll go outside and eat dirt.:-1

I just don't understand. Check out the song by the Amazing Cherry Bombs. It applies somewhat to my on again off again relationship with with the lovely Snooze. The song tiltle says it all. "Its hard to kiss the lips at night that chew you a#@ out all day long". Beautiful song.

Back to the topic of the thread..I was rudely awakened by the act of falling out of bed. It is bad enough when you are a kid..but I was an adult.

OK, not as interesting as cat snot, or a dog butt, but what can I say?

We were on a band trip in high school and we slept in the gym of a shcool over night. In the morning the band director and some parents woke us by walking around banging symbols together! Talk about RUDE!:yh_ooooo

:yh_laugh :yh_rotfl I am totally amused, because one summer, when I was a camp counselor, we got the kids up one morning by parading through the cabins singing at the top of our lungs.
