:yh_hugs I have no children of my own, but I know this a HUGE event. She'll be fine, we've all done it and lived to tell the tale.

Take her out for icecream and hear all her stories.:yh_hugs

Tomsbgirl I took pictures of my kids every year on the first day of school. My last son I took all thirteen pics and put them in a frame around his senior year picture. They used to make those mats for that purpose. It us unbeliable how fast she will grow and mature. God bless and hugs for you.

You ladies are looking at this the wrong way.

For the next several months you will have a couple of hours each day to do with what you wish!!!!!

No more Sesame Street or Barney!

Peace and quiet to read a book!

An uninterupted cup of coffee!

I still have our 3 year old at home. :D

It's just a little freaky getting used to a whole new "phase" in their life.....

Ha-I used to always tell me kids a big fib on the first day of school. I would say all the moms had a party when they went off to school, we ate pizza, went to the pool! Oh, their little feet dragged going off the first morning at that thought!

Now I enjoy the first day of school, as a teacher in middle school. It is hilarious the first day-the girls come in bubbling and laughing, in their new clothes and chatting with the friends they missed. The boys drag into school, the saddest looks on their faces-knowing they have been sentenced to another year of hard labor!:wah:
