ID cards

Snooze, go have them take it again.

My husband was a gov. employee too, and they must make the most horrid photos! He had some that looked so bad I felt sorry for him to have to wear them-if my teacher ID card doesn't turn out right, we have them take them again!

Well, get them to do another one! This time talk to them & voice your concerns,

they might take several photos and let you choose one... they're only digital

snaps, there wouldn't be a real cost involved....

:p Yeah, those fancy things they do with it! And you don't dare accidently loose it, because that is a big hassle.

Three years is long-they will probably have a new one next year, they will change something about.

Ghads, you know what we used to do as teachers when we hated ours-put stickers on them to cover them up-but you probably couldn't do that with your job.

I think it would be bad for snooze, she would have alot of paperwork and hassle about it.

I'd still be stuck with this face though... I doubt they do glam shots for ID cards. Bastards!

If that doesn't work you could always cut your hair, dye it white-blonde and wear coloured contact lenses then insist on a new pic as yours looks NOTHING like the new you!

Or you could get a professional passport photo taken THEN peel the laminate off and say the washing machine/ cat/ laundry service did it, then apologise for not having time to take a new photo but say "Luckily I have a spare one here" and produce the new photo! Its probably easier for them to just do it rather than have the hassle of arguing over it.

Put it on a really long lanyard so it hangs down about waist level, it's

still on the front of your torso, but nobody can see it from that distance!!

I have to wear one of those damn things too! And I hate my picture on it too. BUT, I cheat :sneaky: I put it on, 'round my neck and then turn it around so it's backwards and noone can see my ugly pic... :wah:

Hun, it cant really be that bad can it - women always think they look hideous in photos and constantly put themselves down . Have you shown it to anyone and asked their opinion. Ok,;) if its really that bad spray it with cat nip and let the cats have a nibble or you could, if your feeling brave scan it and post it for us to see so we can print it off and use it for darts practise :rolleyes: :yh .....................................:yh_kiss

Does anyone ever like their ID photos?

I work in HR and take the pictures for the new-hire ID badges. There is no laminating involved and the employees can chose to wear them or not. Our ID badges are also used to clock in and out. If an employee loses or damages the ID, I can easily replace it....with the same picture. In these days after 911, Id badges are a necessary "evil".

And, no, I'm not that crazy about the picture on my ID.:p

Tape a good photo of yourself over the bad one..

make sure it is about the same size. Hell even laminate the bugger before affixing it.. The ID stay intact and your picture is one you like..:sneaky:

I fear you may be doomed with your same picture, I had to replace mine not to long ago and it was the same picture.......same thing happened when I lost my DMV.:-3
