I hope I'm posting in the right spot. This is a fun way to get to know people a little better. You post five things about yourself and the next person does the same about their self. You may post anything you like. I'll start:

1. I love avocados

2. I've never been out of the states except for Mexico

3. I like blues, classic rock, bebop jazz

4. I used to work in animal rescue

5. I'd like to learn to work with glass someday

1. Im a recovering alcoholic

2. In real life Im not an obnoxious loud mouthed idiot. Im actually soft spoken, polite and dont like attention.

3. Blues.....makes my soul burn

4. I always wanted to be a chef.

5. I am a total, complete, outright, no bones about it, without reservation, mind bending, annoying, irritating and fully disturbed clean freak. Dust is my enemy.

2. I love Champagne my drink of choice.

3. I'm sports nut, love Soccer (football) then American Football the most.

4. I a computer nerd been working with computers and systems since 1972 yes I'm a "GEEKETTE".

5. My family means everything to me, without them my life would be zip...:-4

6. I'm a car nut, old ones (I have a 73 Camaro) original owner, New ones, ugly one, cool one I love cars.. Always wanted a Woodie..!! still do but it would cost me a fourtune to find one in good shape and buy it..:driving:

Hmm let's give this a try...

1. Music is my OXYGEN. I can't live without it. My favorite is alternative/emo rock but I listen to a little bit of everything.

2. I'm sarcastic, sometimes maybe a little bit too sarcastic for my own good.

3. I'm loyal and honest to the end, which makes me a good friend I think.

4. I LOVE to travel, be adventurous, go out, explore, learn, party, hang out with friends, socialize, meet all kinds of people.

5. I'm a night owl. I can't go to bed early...EVER and I LOVE IT!.

o.k. - here goes -

1. Chocolate is a daily friend of mine!

2. Books and shoes are my main items of expenditure. How can you live without reading? and you can NEVER have too many pairs of shoes!

3. Family and friends are very important to me.

4. I love cats but can't keep pets where I live, so I have to share my sister's 3 cats when I visit her.

5. I love making new friends but my best friends are still those that I met years ago in my first school.

1) I am the adventure seeker in my family.

2) I am not a recovering alcoholic, I slowed down when I was drinking before I went to every class .

3) I'm a huge dog fan (these don't count, I have a border collie/australian shepherd mix, I want an Akita, Presa Canario, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Weimeraner, Boxer, and/or Yorkshire Terrier).

4) I have very low self-esteem. The only thing I'm proud of is my intelligence.

5) I want to be able to bench press 350lbs. by this time next year if not sooner, lets try March.

***6***I don't fully trust anyone because I've been hurt too many times by too many people. It's something I really have to work on.

1) People think more highly of me than I do of myself.

2) The older I get, the more difficulty I have watching news stories about maimed or purposefully injured children and animals. I find that I *must* change the channel.

3) I just love being an Auntie!

4) I am so attracted to my husband's brain, heart and smell.

5) I can almost always find the good qualities in anyone or anything.

1. I prefer to live life spontaneously rather than with everything planned out.

2. Reading is my favorite thing to do. I average a book every 2 days or so...

3. I have seen 45 states and 4 countries.

4. I had 5 notebooks filled with poetry in high school.

5. I love the family I created, my husband and 2 kiddies! :-4 They're the only family I have.

2. In high school, I shook hands with then President Gerald Ford.

3. Lived in Italy for 3 and a half years from 1985-88. Want to go back to Europe soooooo bad.

4. Almost had a piece of broken glass take my eye out at 3 yrs old. Have a scar just a few millimeters from my left eye. But the crow's feet hide it now.

5. Hunkered down and survived Hurricane Hugo in 1989.

You're all so interesting- if we just had a really big bean bag chair we could sit and visit!

I forgot to mention you can post as many times as you like.

I drink about 12-15 diet colas a day

I am mild mannered but will fight for animal causes no matter what

I don't drive (had an accident and am now a basket case about driving)

I am very loyal to my friends and my family

I know nothing of photography but always have my camera with me

Wow, everyone here is so interesting...CHOCOLATE people..rock! lol My turn.

1. I have a horribly bad memory(my childhood is a blur, I can remember some good things, but I can remember the bad better. school's a blur too, well the class work anyways)

2. I'm deathy afraid of heights, and large bodies of water(just thinking about it makes it hard for me to breathe)

3.I am a singing machine, love karaoki(even though it's for fun, I always feel I have to sing better than everyone else..kinda ruins it I know.)

4. The one thing I CANNOT stand are people who sing all the time and think they sound good so they sing loud, and they are horribly off key.:-5

5. I love al my friends and my close family(i have a big heart). I find myself falling in love easily, which sucks b/c my heart gets broke easily.

More from me . . .

1) I can gain and lose weight faster than anyone I've ever met. It's great on the 'way down' but depressing on the 'way up'.

2) I need to feel passionate about life. It's just the way I'm wired.

3) I have struggled over the years with feelings that I just don't measure up to my identical twin.

4) I just love to crawl into my bed each night. Great mattress, great pillow, great partner :-4

5) I love the way that some women (myself included) can so quickly get intimate with each other, can so readily 'connect'.

I'm having a 2nd go as well -

1. I love the ocean, my idea of heaven would be to live by the sea. I love lighthouses and collect pictures of them on my screensaver.

2. I love the autumn and winter, quite enjoy spring but hate the summer because of the heat and hay-fever. I really love the wind, rain and snow.

3. I am fascinated by the moon and stars, I am getting a telescope so that I can take this interest further.

4. Sadly I have never had children but have dozens of god-children, nieces, nephews and great nieces/nephews, so I don't miss out.

5. I love storms, there is nothing better than being snug inside watching lightning streak about the sky.

Because I am so self-involved :rolleyes: , I'll go for Round 3 here:

1) The very first R-rated movie I saw was "Magnum Force".

2) I lost my virginity at age 22 -- the last one in my group to do so . . .

3) My doggie has truly fulfilled my nurturing needs.

4) I have very few eyelashes due to alopecia.

5) Contentment is vastly underrated.
