Hi Cher - LC was kind to me when I first arrived at FG and I always think of her fondly. There are loads of different people in here - sort of like different textures. Makes life interesting.

Then of course there is also, Nomad... . and in a white coat with test tubes poking out of the pockets, surgical gloves, reeking of formaldehyde and that smile on his face... lemmmmme outttttta here!!!!

I like a good forum as an antidote to loneliness, particularly during the winter months. Otherwise I'm stuck alone in the house to brood and wander from room to room in my long underwear, studying seed catalogs while I dream of spring.

I find that I can discuss some things with forum members that I would never even bring up with my friends and colleagues in my daily life. I can actually be my real self on a forum. In my "real" life I have to be a lot of things for a lot of people. But when I flip on the computer and log on, I can relax, unwind and just enjoy the comradery of a variety of interesting and entertaining people from all over the world.

Thats it. The people here are very alike in taste and temperament. Similar senses of humour too!

In my everyday life I talk to people about work or hubbies, kids, families. . . just everyday stuff.

Most people think you're weird if you try to start a discussion on politics or religion or even world news unless it happens to be current. I have many wide and varied interests and I can chat about them here, as well as tell jokes and stories and have fun. I think most of the people I know are just too straight laced and too many of them seem to have a limited sense of humour. Things I find funny they find weird and think I'm weird for finding them funny!

However, you guys ARE weird - so you find them funny too!

Up to 1998, I would have said the same. But in 1998, I had a specific and poignant dream that served to direct my spirit.

Other than the benefits I have received by doing this (this forum being one of them), I have found at least one person, wherever I have gone to work, if not two, with whom I can discuss these matters you list.

How's about that then.

What did it mean to you?

I love dreams and what they might be telling us.

The whole dream dictionary idea is fascinating as often the meaning seems unrelated to the dream.

How did you feel your dream helped you Rog?

Its so great to find people in RL that you can discuss life, the Universe and everything with, but also, sadly, so rare.
