oh, i read one of your posts Bill Sikes, you dont care for the color and off fonts. makes you feel like this? :-5 i am just learning it on this thread as a practice to see how this site works. i am really impressed with the pictures that everybdoy inserts. how do you do that?????????

if you have a photobucket or other image host account you can post pics mid-post using "img tags"..... find the URL of the image you'd like to display* and copy it (ctrl+C), then hit the button and paste (Ctrl+V) it into the window that pops up... voila, an image in the middle of your post!

hit "quote" and look at the construction of my post** as I use your avatar's url for an example:

See? now I can have text under the pic as well.... when you attach an image it attaches at the bottom of a post, when you IMG tag it it can go in the middle

(the square brackets [] around the letters "img," then post the url of the gif or jpg you want to display, then the square brackets around "/img" at the end of the URL....)

*right click and choose properties, but you are better off to host it yourself

**anytime you want to see how something was done you can hit "quote" and examine it... then hit the backbutton on your browser to get back to where you were

I think you've already had the info., but when you reply, you can press

"manage attachments" (scroll down the "reply to thread" screen to the

"additional options" bit), and upload files from your computer.

Hi guys...I can try to walk U thru posting pics in regular reply msgs...want to tell me how far you get? DO you know how to LOAD a FILE gif FROM your computer?

CAN you SEE the small window populate FILL up W long name of your selected pic ? HOPE you R NOT offended BY questions. Helps to know WHAT you CAN DO & WHAT YOU understand.

POST SHORT list I click the

A PAPERCLIP

B new sm window BROWSE

C find a pic in yr files OPEN b sure SIZE is appropriate

D UPLOAD should see a filename in mid o window B4 close it

E place cursor where U want pic NOW PAPERCLIP manage if more or click the file you put there watch the naes as if more than 1 you dn't waste time

F PREVIEW see below msg U create SO ya don't post accidentally any bachelor party WHOOPS pics and have to grovvel & beg 4 help to get em outta there cause Mr Murpy said ya won't know WHAT 2 do LOL

POST reply as soon as you hit a snag OK? ROOKIE HERE but will try to assist

the only place i have figured out how to put pictures on my pc is under "my pictures" beyond that i am a dunce. i am going to write down what you just posted. over a period of months or even years it will sick in and all of a sudden a lightbulb moment will happen and i will go ah ha!!!!!! :wah:

see the power of postitve thinking? it might take me forever but i am confident i will comprehend before it is over with. ..................................................
