Has anyone else noticed anything weird with the quote attributes? For example:

If Joe Blow quotes Jane Doe in his post and responds to said quote and then you hit the quote button on his post where he responded, in your post it says that Jane Doe said: "xyz". When it was his post you were quoting. Did that make any sense?

Someone has corrected a quote I did saying that someone did not say that as I quoted them saying that when I actually quoted someone else quoting someones post and it came out that I quoted someone else entirely. Savvy?

I'm sooo confused! :-2

I know you are able to "edit" the quoted passage, as I did with yours, adding color. Is that what you mean?

I've always known this but I have always trusted people to quote me and leave it alone. Most people quote somebody and there is a huge mistake which is misleading, but they leave it. Proper thing.:-6

Quote Zinky then Quote Hamster so when the post actually went up it looked like I had quoted myself....

If that makes sense? :-5

The machine does that. It has to if you quote more than one person or something like that, it can be confusing until you get used to it.
