You really are one of the most remarkable people I have come across. You've had such a raw deal, yet you still give so much love and positivity to others. You really are a gem, and a gift to everyone that knows you.

I'd just like to say how much I admire your strength, kindness and the sheer inner beauty that shows through in everything you say.

You are one of a kind.:-4

I can personally vouch for all the lovely things that are said about our Chons...although we didn't quite get to meet when I was in America, she was so, so supportive to me, offering me her time, and, if I chose, her home. Nothing would have been too much trouble for her to help a friend.

Chonsi is a very, very special lady and I'm privileged to know her :-6 :-4

Oh, thank you for the encouragement my lovely FG family.:-4

We go to the neurologist in an hour, for his check up and to fix the problem from the ER last week. (he had a gran mal seizure Friday morning, it was very scarey, he never has had one since he has been home) They say it is a result of the brain injury, so I want to know if I must be prepared for anything else.

My husband is able to be at home with me, and does well here. He can say a few phrases or two, but I know what he wants when he asks. He can use the walker once or twice a day. If he is in fine form on a weekend, he knows football and will watch the games for awhile. I think that is very good! Of course, he falls asleep during the games and I don't have the heart to tell him when the team he was rooting for lost.

He vascillates betwen knowing it is me, thinking I am his Mom. I have learned to be content with the image of Mom when necessary, since it is a positive thought for him. It is embarassing to tell paramedics and doctors who he is talking to, but I dealt with that last Friday morning. It is who he knows when he is ill, or scared of things like thunderstorms. It is better to be a positive role model, and make him comfortable for his health.

The roof was repaired on Monday, no more leaks! And they fixed one loose gutter too, so nice of them.:)

FG has been my mainstay and support during these two years, and your patience with my down days and your love and encouragement everyday makes me smile. I am always thankful for each and every one of you. You will never know how much it means to me, to stop by here in between nursing chores and life, to say hi and have fun for awhile.

Chonsi,

I had not realised that your husband's problems were so bad from the few references I've seen.

Much respect for the way you cope with life and the strength you show.

That you can handle all the problems life throws at you whilst remaining so open and big-hearted with us speaks volumes and it is an honour to know you

Chonsi, you are indeed a very special and lovely Lady!

I hadn't realised your hubby had an accident, I thought he had developed an illness. What a shock that must have been for you but how amazingly well you've coped with everything. You always seem to have a smile on your face and a good word for everybody. You are a very special Lady indeed! :yh_hugs
