BabyRider I don't know you and I've just recently starting posting regularly, but I have been following the thread about your accident. The outpouring of love and concern that everyone here has for you is quite amazing to read about and very touching. And, although I don't know you that well, I hope that you continue to progress by leaps and bounds. You have come through quite an ordeal! WELCOME BACK!!!! I look forward to getting to know you better and posting with you!

I'm so glad to see you back BR...

I couldn't begin to understand what it is you are going through...

I have been holding my breath, waiting to hear you speak(well...see, I suppose), and I cant tell you enough how enlightened my heart has become to see you posting again. I pray that your misfortune has subsided, at the same time I am angered at such lack of responsibility people take for granted. I hope you are here to stay, and never have to leave us again, as everyone hear loves your strength, your thoughtfulness, and the bravery we all know you have. My day can now be enjoyed, even on the darkest of hours....welcome back.

It's good to see you back BabyRider. You were one of the first I encountered at this forum, and you offered help, no questions asked (just like all the others). I hope your continued recovery is a swift one. You're one special lady around here, and it's a good day having you back round :)

Be patient, folks...she's having a bit of trouble getting Internet access set up at home. There's service to Mamarider's house; she just didn't have a computer to access it until the laptop was set up. She tried to do that yesterday, but was having difficulty accessing her NetZero account. My significant other, who is an IT professional, tried today when we went over there, and he couldn't get it to work either, but at least he diagnosed the problem. It'll take a call to NetZero to get it resolved, but it shouldn't be hard. It will probably be Monday or Tuesday before she's back online.

Also, she still gets tired very quickly. Six weeks in bed will do that to you, and most of her energy is still going to healing. So even when she does get back online, it will be for short periods, and may not be every day at first.

Thanks, Darlin;.....and please tell her we're content to know she's healing and working out the kinks.

Personally, I'd be willing to help with an internet account...if you think that's something which'd work????

The Internet account is available. There's just a password conflict. It should be straightened out in a day or so.

Thanks so much for the offer :) You guys really are the best.

It is just good to hear she is able to complete her recovery at home.

Gawd..I have NetZero and I hate it. If I had not committed for a year, for a special price, I would be on a new ISP already.

Just let her know we will still be here when she is ready to start coming back. And remind her that Nomad WILL behave. He has the Welcome Wagon Ladies to keep him in line.

I'm so glad you're back BR. Back in your own comfy house, in your own comfy bed, in your own comfy bathroom (!). It makes a BIG difference in your recovery. Everyone has been so terribly concerned about you and have been keeping you in their thoughts for such a long time and we still are.

Welcome Back, Baby!

Aww, Cher, you do say the sweetest things :-4 The new job is amazing...market research, which sounds a yawn to most people, no doubt, but it's exactly what I want to do. The commute is good, too, which helps.

Things are going swimmingly with my guy. We've been together more than four years now, so I think we can say it's likely to work out ;) I get the next two weekends with him - we're going on a trip in two weeks. Just down to Indiana. Not too far, but a nice little weekend getaway.

[end thread hijack] We now return you to your regularly-scheduled welcome back...
