Whenever I feel myself wondering "What's it all about?", I usually ask my friend Alfie

Those moments in life are unsettling. But it'll come to you out of the blue and you can move on to the next set of crossroads. Half the time it's just knowing how to express that feeling. It'll hit you like a lump of whale blubber in a gale.

Life has those crossroads-sometimes they take a short time to cross. Sometimes it is a long time. Or when you cross one, the next turn in the road ahead is waiting or you.
I have been at the crossroads for two years now, and when I look out over the horizon, I see no end in sight. Or, if the next turn has an ending, I will be quite unhappy.
Best advice Hamster: Live One Day At A Time.
Don't worry about the next crossroad until you reach it. Enjoy what there is now, and do your best with life.

Life is exactly what you describe a series of " cross roads" Constant hurdles to overcome, decisions to be made, sets of circumstances to be evaluated.
With each choice, test. or decision.. we as " players at the game of life become stronger, wiser, and possibly wary. The load can become quite heavy at times. Despite the fact that I recognize that I am prone to boughts of depression brought on by lifes heartaches and pressures, I still am aware of the keys necessary to not becoming someone who gives up. They are to have an appreciation of simple pleasures like fresh air, sunshine, good health, laughter. and the company of loved ones. You might like to read a very old but good book called " The Road Less Travelled" you would like it. I need to read it again myself.

Gerb (:wah: ) When this happens to me I slow my pace. Sometimes you have to pause and make time to take care of yourself. Its important to let your body, mind and spirit be filled with new energy. Relax. Take a walk by yourself. Think of the things that inspire you. Be thankful. Watch your children sleep. Often the things were searching for are right under our noses.

I am working on it...give me time :-6
And its easy for me to tell you your wealthy when you have 9 kids in the house fighting. :wah: *shutting up now*:D

Ah Hammie
It is these small and quiet moments that sustain us, isn't it?
It's the cloudy day when the sun breaks through the one time you're outside
It's the kind word the woman in line at the grocery store takes the time to say to you
It's the changes of the seasons, when life renews itself once again
I try to celebrate every single *small* victory in life. If you wait for the big ones, well, they are too few and far between.
Lots of love coming your way, my friend :-4

I hugged an old lady in the grocery store at 5am this morning. That made my day. And maybe hers.
