The other day I sent an e-mail to a small theater owner in, I think, Iowa. He gave his manager two weeks off and closed his theater instead of showing that movie. The e-mail that I sent was a "standing ovation" for standing by what he believes in.
While I am pretty tolerant and really don't have a problem with the name of the film, I must say - the last couple of years some of the movies that have come out of Hollywood certainly haven't encouraged the youth of today to do anything that requires any kind of thought at all.
I would rant but I really don't know what to say about it all so I will just save it up for another time.

Hmmm I actually wanna go see the movie. I liked the first one, but I've always been a fan of the show too.

I guess they could call it Jacques Derrier and blame it on the French.

Though I would like to pretend to be too highbrow to be amused by the Jackass franchise... the stuff makes me laugh until I cry. It's the only thing of it's type - base humor - that I laugh at, and I can't help it, Lord knows I want to. But it's funny stuff. And this movie - for fans of the series - was hilarious. I'm all for people standing for what they believe in, and I believe that idiots should be allowed to hurt themselves for my amusement.
