Orbs or not?
To be honest the first looks like what you get when the photographer's finger gets in the shot. The second, hard to tell.

OK, then it will be interesting to hear what others have to say. I admit to not knowing alot about this. Cute kids, though.

Looks to me like the film had been scared by something prior to taking the pictures, or simply light being incorporated with the film somehow. But, I don't believe in haunted things so, it may just be my biased assumptions.

To me it just looks like a photographic effect, but like Synder I'm not a believer in the paranormal. For your own benefit, if you believe that the house is haunted and you want to do something about it, you should try and find help from someone who can deal with such things on that basis, be it religious or spiritual. Though you should be absolutely sure they are on the level and that you have some basis on whoch you can trust them being in your home of course. Although I don't believe in such things, its well documented that people feel that events that have made them feel uncomfotable in a house go away once someone from the outside intervenes. Whether its a pyscological effect, or there is some sort of paranormal thing going on is irrelevant, as long as you feel comfortable in your own home.
P.S. Make sure they don't charge you money, or suck you into anything other than getting your problem solved, there are a lot of chancers out there. If you don't feel like having anyone in your house, thats also prudent and wise, it depends on how affected you are by any events.

Just occasionally burst out a few rounds of a 12 gauge shotgun every now and again...
That will scare them off.

Orbs or not?
ahh well orbs..................
Most are in fact dust. Dust particles, floating round in your house, whipped up as people walk past, (on a sunny day you can see all the dust in your house floating past the sun rays that come in your window's).... It is very hard to prove exactly what any photographic anomaly is, unless you have your photo's professionally analysed. (by a photographic expert).
But sometimes you do get the odd photo that is perplexing. I had one sent in which most definitely wasn't an orb, it appeared "scull like" in the background of a photograph. (I'd like to post the link to it but I know a lot of sites are funny about you posting links etc so I won't). It is, however on my site, under "Strange Photo's", if anyone wants a look. I have had it analysed by a professional and he says that even when you invert the colours etc it is still there, but without the original its impossible to say for sure.
