Oh where do i start, i've got a really bad head cold, i got sent home from college yesterday, i came home and got in my Pj's ready for bed when my friend phoned, her other half had decided to beat the $hit out of her and trash her flat, so she came over with her daughter. I stayed up til 2 talking to her. She's on a real downer so she's staying over tonight too. I just feel drained, i seem to be a rock for all my friends and they only seem to want to offload on me! I've just cooked a roast dinner for everyone, her daughter is over an hour late, she's in the next town with the police trying to get him out of her flat, Jim's out training, Sam's out training so it's only Jenna and I that have eaten. So i've spent three hours in the kitchen for only two people to eat :-5 Anyway enough moaning, i'm sure tomorrow will be a much brighter day :-6

You're right -- your day *has* been a stinker

You've been a wonderful friend to your friend -- she's lucky to have you in her life. But it also can suck the energy right out you -- you kind of feel deflated.

It must be about 8:15 p.m. where you live -- can you pour yourself a nice drink and put your feet up for awhile? Just clear your *own* head for a short time? The Suz, if you don't tend to yourself every once in awhile, you become absolutely useless to EVERYBODY.

If I was with you, I'd take your shoes off and pour you a nice big glass of wine. I'd bring you a good cheese with some crackers. I'd tell you to close your eyes and shut everyone out, *just* for a little while.

And then I'd refill your glass all night long

You most definitely deserve it :-4

the arguing was a bit nasty today that got me down a bit but apart from that i'm pretty cool i'm much happier after joining the forum than i was before
