Honey Bee Day

Post by Rapunzel »

It's Honey Bee Day today. :-6

Time to break out the honey. Did you know that eating locally produced honey can help you with allergies?

And don't forget the intricate method used to give honey it's golden colour! ;)

I know about the local honey and allergies thing. I have suffered allergies for years and decided to take the advice of a local farmer and start taking local honey daily from February till October. My allergies to pollen have reduced amazingly!

But - I am really really sick of honey now

Do you think LETTUCE would be nice with honey on it? :sneaky:

Why don't you try it and LETTUCE see? :sneaky: :wah:

My daughter also has allergies and our local bee-keepers said eating the local honey would help. Of course, she hates the stuff!

Some friends of Ricks used to keep bees. We still have a couple of jars of the honey they produced.
