Window Peeping...Art or Creepy ?

Post by Nomad »

I enjoy looking in peoples windows. Not in the creepy way like climbing a tree in their front yard or pressing my perverted nose against their window, but if Im driving by I always look in if the curtains or blinds are open. If Im on my deck and I can see in I look. I like to see what people are doing or what their house looks like. I have several sets of binoculars but I draw the line there, I wont use them for that. I will stretch my gizzards for a better view though. Is this wrong ?

Are there proper peeping techniques I should be aware of ?

No harm no foul I suppose, and if they leave their windows open, it's their fault right? :)

As long as you don't use the binoculars, you're okay Nomad

although binoculars, regular ones, don't do much good. I had a neighbor who used his high tech stuff and when his wife told me, I tried my binoculars and he didn't see anything with binoculars. But he did with the hi tech stuff. Don't think I opened my bedroom curtains after that.

And Nomad, I will look into windows with curtains opened. I guess it is the curious snoop in all of us.:-3

Sometimes Ill just make rings with my fingers and hold them over my eyes. Also sometimes I find my wife staring at me in disbelief and shaking her head. Then I wonder "what is her problem"

I like to look in people's windows, too.

Even when I'm in a car. I just like to get a 'snapshot' of other people's lives. I find that really interesting.

Am I as 'out there' as Nomad is? Or am I worse? :-3 :)

Since the window I look out of most is the kitchen window, while washing dishes of course, there is no one to snoop on. But there is always a pretty expanse of sky to see, and a little patch of the forest nearby, or kids running by playing. That's not snooping, that's enjoying the outdoors you wish you were at.

Oh my god, is that being curious or just plain nosy?? I can honestly say i don't and wouldn't do that.

Years ago after i came home from having my son at hosp, we had tons of visitors and to be quite honest i didn't want to face another person, i settled down to give my son a feed when the door went, i just ignored it thinking they'd go away, i looked up and to my horror my mate and her husband were looking through the window, i went mad. Her husband never looked at me in the same way, they always phone to check i'm in now before they pop round!!!!:D

Well

I don't go up to windows and press my nose against the windowpane

But when I'm in the passenger seat of a car

I like to see a 'moment in time' in someone else's life

I don't think it makes me creepy at all

I just find it interesting :-6

Just a little curious, since window peepers know that peeping is done first hand, DO YOU KEEP YOUR OWN DRAPES OR BLINDS CLOSED? :-2

That's the funny thing!

I often walk around without clothes on and with the blinds open. It drives my husband crazy  -- he thinks it's terrible.

Hey

if someone wants to look at a 44-year-old body that badly

let them :thinking:
