EXTROVERT CANYA TELL?!?!?!?!?

I don't think it really affects my life... except maybe since I somehow

married a man who is my opposite in that regard...

I'll never forget, one time I wanted to go to a party and he was whining

"But, I won't KNOW anyboy there"... my reply... "You go to parties to

MEET PEOPLE"!!

Carl Young thought we are biologically one and have to learn the the other.

Took a test in biology. Don't remember much about it other then tasting lemmon juice was part of it.

I tested out that I was an introvert so I must have over learned extrovertedness.

I used to be very introverted. I was so painfully shy I hated social situations.

Now, I'm an extrovert and it makes life much better. I'm not afraid of social or work situations.

Interesting question. When I was young I was young, I was a serious introvert. My idea of a fast time was drinking chocolate milk and playing chess at lunch hour with the other nerds.

When I moved to New Mexico, I decided I didn't like my personality, so I rewrote it. I bought a bright yellow '69 Camaro, got a hot girlfriend, changed clothes and hit every keg party I could find. (Sort of like that movie, "The New Guy")

Now I have both sides.

At home I am a stoic, quiet, reserved, private man.

At school I am a wild, screaming, hyperactive over-the-top charismatic leader.

I am both. I love parties and events and love to mingle, no problem with speaking to a small or large audience. On the other hand, I enjoy my own company and have no problem with solitude. My personality is such that it needs both.

My mom would not let me be introverted. My dad would not let me be extroverted. So now I'm just plain perverted.:sneaky:

I am introverted. I don't like social gatherings, and making small talk. It seems like there is so much pressure to be clever and seem interested in stuff that just doesn't interest me. I'm usually pretty quiet at social stuff, I find you learn more when you sit back and observe. I'm getting over that, though. A neccessity to survival in the lifestyle I have chosen with my guy. I am finding out that I was wrapped REAL tight for a long time, and slowly but surely learning to loosen up. Much to the relief of a certain biker we all know...

Nothing shy about you, darlin! hehehehe

But I've got to be the most reclusive extrovert, ever! :yh_bigsmi

You ever hear of such a thing?

As far as effecting my life......I suppose so. I'm a 'chatty kathy' at work, but yet I dont socialize much. I prefer to keep to myself, with just hubby for company.

I used to be introverted and found myself in a job that forced me to be extroverted. So now I extrovert in a way that makes people want to introvert me. That's how I justify my lack of friends, anyway. Sour grapes?

Sort of like hanging out with a bunch of extroverts when you are introverted and introverted friends when you are extroverted?

In a new situation, I tend to observe and listen. In a familiar situation, I "laugh and scratch" like the rest of "em. ;)
