Brawls...

Why don't we see any bench-clearing brawls in football? Yeah, I know that

they get to "hit" each other the next play, but still I would think at some

point we'd still see one... even if everybody wears helmets and pads!!

I wonder if they are all too tired and bruised up. But you're right, I don't know if I have ever seen a bench clearing brawl - other than at High School games!

Hockey, now there's a game... fast and physical. Only reason I don't

get into it more is already having 12 hours of football to watch per week.

I've even seen the occasional brawl in basketball... and those guys must be

really tired out. Baseball they stand around a lot so stands to reason they'd

have more energy...

I've seen the bench cleared at a few high school games but it is rare.

Once punched a guy in the throat who bit me in a wrestling match.

Fortunatly I had the teath marks to prove it or I would have probably gotten quite a bit of trouble.

Somehow I can't envision anyone in a brawl at a Badmitten Match, or Ping Pong.

Pitcher nails a batter in the kidneys with a 92 mph fastball, batter charges the mound, benches clear in 1.4 seconds and it's total mayhem...

I do like hockey, and I'm not sure which team holds that record, but I'd be willing to bet that it's our very own Red Wings. (We had Bob Probert playing for us for so long we have a good shot at it.) Am I right??
