Try some exercise ............try some warm milk for the tryptophan.....or eat chicken or turkey...........try some TV or music at bedtime. Most of all try to get up 2 hours earlier in the AM.

When all else fails................go to the doc and get some adivan for a month.

Because you're an insomniac like the rest of us!

I've been through it all... I'm fortunate if I can get four hours of sleep a night... (which I'm fine with, really unless I'm training) and no, I don't always follow all the advice I've been given, either... :p but when it's been several days... I do everything I can to try to fall asleep.

I'll go back and read what you've done thus far and offer my advice once I've read everything you've already tried.

pinks i go through long spells where i cant sleep at all , my brain just wont shut down i know i have work in the morning and i must get some sleep or i will be soooo tired the next day but i just cant sleep

have you tried sleeping on the very edge of the bed i tried it last night i dropped off in no time :wah:

Alright, let's see...

One of the first things that was recommended by my doctor was to rid my bedroom of unnecessary distractions, keep it dark and all that..., only use your bed for sleeping... (yeah, I always screw up with that one, too... :wah: )
