OK I promised Snooze that I would work out how to do this voice-recorder thingy as she'd like to hear my accent. So hopefully this works properly.

How can you hear it if I can't? God I'm hopeless! :wah: Oh well, at least it works, unless that is you hear voices anyway, though if it sounded Irish it was probably me. More importantly could you understand it?

Does it sound like you thought though? English people are used to Irish voices, so its more for you really, as you probably don't get to hear many Irish voices over on the west of the U.S. Your voice sounds intelligent and quite sweet really, I thought you would sound more cutting because of your dry wit, but I was nicely surprised! Maybe you could do an angry snooze one, just for me?

Thank you very much! Hmmnnn, the Irish accent is a popular one alright, though to me they are just boring and normal, but I suppose they are kinda soft-sounding compared to other ones. I'm not fussy about accents myself, though I must say that I do like that kinda U.S. southern accent on a woman, and north of england girls I like a lot as well.

Anyone else gonna put their accent on this thing, I'd love to hear some. If you have a PC, then there is a sound recorder in the entertainment folder in accessories. You need a mike as well, but its pretty easy to use.

By the way, there's another thread I started way back when that asked for wav files... theres Unc, Arnold and Clancy on there if anyone wants to hear them. ;)

Oh of course, of course, but you don't sound like a lunatic at all ye big eejit, you sound lovely, honest, I think I sound like an eejit, but everyone thinks they sound mental when they hear their voice, its scientific and that innit?. Whats the name of the earlier thread, we must get all these accents into one place so that people can hear them, twould be great.

Well, Shaind, howya? Its nice to see someone Irish here again at last, I get a bit lonely here sometimes since jenny and capt buzzard left. My FG name is related to the town I think, but I don't live in Galbally or come from limerick. You should put your voice on this thing when you are used to the place, so they can hear what an irish woman sounds like. This is a pretty good forum, I think you will enjoy it. Talk to you again. :)
