I liked this (.pdf) discussion on tool use. Table 2 is kinda cute, because young Yoro starts hammering open nuts at the age of 5, left-handed like his mum. Unfortunately the table also marks him as "disappereared before Jan 2003")

In my experience primate essays get the most marks if you harp on about Orangs more than the other primates, because;

how cute is that?

If you're studying at an undergraduate level then all you're asked is to do some reading, some thinking, perhaps some talking and then collate your thoughts together, write an essay and demonstrate to your tutor that you have grasped the major points of whatever it is you've been asked to study. Heaven help you if you do anything other than synthesise.

If you're at graduate level then the previous is assumed and you'd better be producing your own work that you can defend.

I've tried to be succinct rather than verbose so if this needs clarification then I will be happy to do so. If I've been Captain Obvious then I deserve a promotion. Call me Major Problem
