CARLA;444608 wrote: Suzy so sorry for your pain as Normad said a heating pad and medication will usually help enough to get you to the Doctors.

I broke my neck in 1987 I ruptured 3 disc that blow out big time (actually made the medical journals for the biggest blown disc ever) I now have cadavar bone in my neck in three disc. :-5

I know your pain the less you move right now the better. Actually for me when I do something dumb and end of unable to move my head period Antiinflammatory medications works just as well as the pain killers if not better.:(

I hope your feel better soon.. :yh_flower :yh_flower

Thanks Carla, that sounds awful, i'm glad your better now. I'm still flat out on my back, called the Dr out today and he said he knows that it is painfull, but i must try to keep moving and not lay still! I thought i was going to punch him(if i could've moved that is!). My Dr is certainly no Mr sensitive, imagine what his poor wife must go through. I can't even enjoy being waited on!

The Suz

Do you think they'll do an MRI to see if there is any disk damage?

Please keep us posted.

I think thats what they're thinking of doing, only prob is as an urgent case you have to wait 6 weeks for an MRI, i've already had my L5 totally removed and they said that if another disc popped and needed removing that they'd have to put a rod in my back. But it's caused pain in my stomach too as i only had all that mesh packed in my stomach at the end of May, and i think the extra strain where my back has gone has caused that to play up!! Feeling really miserable and tearfull at the moment. :-1 :-1

Suze, hope you're better soon, I thought I'd had a crap morning until I read this. I'm so sorry that you're suffering - get Jim to be forceful with the medics for you, you really need to be sorted out soon.
