Oh Jim, i've just read the thread about asking for prayers for Chantelle.

There is so little that your friends here can do for you other than keep thinking of you all and offering our love and prayers.

Please let us help you get to her, I know you probably feel that you don't deserve this and you may be right but Chantelle certainly does deserve it.

So many times we read of kids that have had a tough childhood for various reasons and wish that someone had done something to help, this is the chance for all of us to do that something. In her case it could be a life saving something so what's a few pounds compared to that.

In the mean time are there any fgers who live in the same state who may be able to tell you who to contact to get her the help she needs?

thanks for the pm s also i will reply in a bit i'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment

if the lovely stargate girl could open me up a stargate wormhole right now to where my poor totured little girl is right now

i would not know where the hospital is

how would i even get there

and if i could get there the mother would tell the hospital security not to let me in

and then what guys

i feel like i'm in a minefield if i upset the mom she might move again

she is certainly being so horrible trying to provoke me into a fight

i have to figure a way to get my girl back here once here she will never want to go back that is what the mom is afraid of

all i need is a pass port photo of my girl i can get her a uk passport

then i can put plan be into action :sneaky:

i'm telling you guys this as i dont want you fantastic people to think i'm ungratefull

and i dont trust a certain witch and rodent not turn up on my door with a ticket in their hand:-4

if i'm right in the uk if your 17 you can hold a full passport in your own right

You showed a pic of her with you a while ago, Jim. I'm sure someone would be able to photoshop it.

Would she be able to board a plane in the US if she's alone and under 18?

I really recommend you also get some advice from the US child protection services on this. I'm worried you could be arrested for kidnapping. Please checkout your legal rights first. (Sorry to play the bad guy here.)

Please be very careful if the mother is as fragile as you say she is, i wouldn't recommend doing anything without her knowlegde . Information is whats needed before you do anything else .

:yh_doh silly question again... but does she have a US passport that she has access to and would it be possible for her to make the trip over here with her boyfriend when shes out of the clinic .

Chantelle was due to come here for Christmas, as soon as we said we needed the passport number to book the flight her mum suddenly declared the passport lost!!!! I dont think the passport will be found and i really cant see her mum applying for nother one for her.

Can I suggest that you look at www.passport.gov.uk regarding applying for a UK passport for Chantelle.

it will tell you what documents you need and how to apply. I have looked at it briefly and she can have her own passport at 16 but because she's not living in the UK you may have to contact the Foreign and commonwealth Office for guidance. It also says that if you are abroad you can apply through the UK embassy in that country but I couldn't see anything about have dual nationality. There are also contact nos for advice.

Hope that you can something sorted for her, let us know what we can do to help.
