going to dc tomorrow

I have been to D.C. several times but only once was I able to spend the time seeing the area. The other visits were protests. It's a great town. I loved the architecture, amenities, the Metro. There's so much to see you'd need a week to cover everything. I'm envious! ENJOY!!!
"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group that believes you can do these things. Among them are a few Texas millionaires, or businessman from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid." Have a great trip!

Try to visit the Zoo, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Smithsonian if you can.

If you drive in DC, watch the streets. They are in the shape of a wagon-wheel, so you can get lost easily. You think you are on the same street, but then you realize you are not. (ugh!) Lots of nice folks to help with directions. :)
