Oh boy that is just like the ex neighbor/best friend, her claim, she is an alcoholic, ... she NEVER drinks. She goes to AA meetings faithfully.

Freaks they are all freaks.

My MIL would be an alcoholic if her old lady bridge group didnt look down on it. Did I mention she is a snob too?

People following along just because someone "cool", or someone is getting all the attention, is doing something, they (the sheep) have to do so as well.

Long story made short, an aquaintance currently claims to have a certain "illness" because someone else has it and is getting treatment and therapy and has to work hard to keep it controlled, the "sheep" now has this very same illness. (it's a farce because we all know it is impossible for this person to have this illness, the real illness is in their head)

Ah yes, sick in the head. Unfortunately some people that are supposedly only "sick-in their minds", are in reality, almost as ill as those that are "physically ill". If they "think" they are sick, "think" they feel sick, "think" that they should act sick, & "think" they have symptoms, even if a doctor has pronounced them well, those people are to themselves, still sick. :-2

What I'm trying to say is: they "are" sick, even if only in their minds, they "think" that, then they are sick.

People who use their children to get something they want. Or use them to get some sort of compensation.

Had a guy call and complain about people speeding on his street. He said, my children are out there playing, what if they get hit? Of course, I said, it'll be your fault for not making them come in the house! (Nearly got in trouble for that snide remark! Luckily my supervisor knows it wouldn't do any good!)

Or people on television who hold the child up to the camera and say, we're flooded/burned/tornadoed/hurricaned out and my children have no place to sleep. I just want to say, OK, I'll take the kid and you can sleep on the street. :-5
When choosing between two evils, I always like to take the one I've never tried before.

Smallmindedness. Ugliness. Unkindness.

I try never to stay offended very long. Taking offence is an emotional response and, as such, impacts more on the offendee than the offender. Life's too short to waste time. Change things you can change. Walk away from what you can't change. And - if possible - keep smiling.

In a sense, I find this thread a bit offensive because as I read, I imagine that I have done, am doing all the offensive things seriously being spoken of. I am one of the ones that comes here for the lighter side, the fun, kidding around, enjoying one another. Some come here looking for support for problems and there is a lot of support and that is great. I just like having fun but I may have unknowingly committed the offensive things above. I don't mind being told if I have done that but I really find it heavy to have to know all the possibles and be wary of being offensive. I mean, I don't want to be offensive but it sometimes happens when playful goes too far.

So much for the peanut gallery, and LOL....I don't have any nuts:D

I felt a bit the same, Weber. Dont think I've ever wanked off to the sight of meself, but gee it's an interesting thought. I do know what Clancy means though about people posting something nasty and then adding a sweetly smiling little emoticon.

That's a very offensive little graphic in your earlier post, by the way. I had to get out my magnifying glass and look very hard to be properly offended. But isn't he exposing himself, and then publicly relieving himself, possibly causing grievous bodily harm to that unsuspecting tree, with some grievous bodily fluids. Don't know what this place has come to. Once I could come in here with my elderly aunts and know that I wouldn't be needing smelling salts to revive them. These days, I tremble when I hear the patter of their little walking frames outside my office door.... :D

that is a little wee fellow peeing on a rather large tree as I couldn't find the wee tree I was looking for. I went up in the Brindabella hills here one winter a few years back, Weber, with a bunch of male friends. We'd all been boozing and of course were crazy to be driving in the snow or driving at all, but ya know how it is when yer young and stupid. Anyway, in the fullness of time, our fullness of booze demonstrated itself as fullness of bladder and we had to stop for a comfort break. In a blizzard. That's when I really noticed the practicalities of different plumbing. They were a tad faster, but got worse frost bite. :sneaky:

Yeah, rude people. That is a huge pet peave of mine. People who speak very loudly in public. Maybe it's why I spend time in a library as much as possible.

Let's see. What else,.......people who don't merge over to the right as they are making a left turn off a busy street. When they make the turn from the middle of the lane.....:yh_cry

I saw a post here that said "when people tell you how you should behave." Oooooo, that is one thing my mother does constantly. She even uses the word "behave" as if she knows what it means. She "behaves" like a screaming banshee. Hell, going out in public with her is an embarrassment.

It used to **** me off when she'd send me emails to my place of employment, in the company's email system, telling me how I should "be in a good mood" from now on when I go to visit her. And once she sent one saying that "from now on you will eat what I cook or you don't eat at all." This was because I didn't want a pile of fattening pancakes she had cooked. So I'd open these emails and read them and get so mad and then have to work while I was mad. It was so rude of her, (rude people). She'd do it on purpose as she knew it would upset me at work. She is such an idiot, with no respect for me or my feelings. And then when I'd email her a nasty email back in reply, she'd print it out and throw it in my face the next time she saw me. As if I am the one in question of how one should "behave"!:-5

Or when she complains about me and my "behavior" to anyone or everyone who will listen. Even total strangers. People have told me the lies and ridiculous stories she has told people about me, and it always shocks me. I never get used to my mother's hating me.

:-1

What a horrible human being my mother is, and to think that she had something to do with raising me, it scares me.

Mebbe a joy stick as it gives joy. How bout flopstick...that is what I thought Floppy's name was for quite a while. But who wants a flopstick, I prefer the upright kind. Maybe it's a handle. Sometimes if you grab them by the handle, they will follow along with great anticipation.

While I am gone I will try to think of more names. For the moment, I would like to have a joystick. Manhood.....sort of sounds like a thing they put over their head....O I see....which head, head, head, fullspeedaheadstick....okay. Later:wah:

Oh yah. I had a "friend" who could not hold anything in. I mean even her own disgusting sex life was something everybody was privy to. She was so awful, that I just completely stopped speaking to her. I mean, I look through her as if I don't even see her. I caught her making a comment to my honey about me when she thought I was not in the room. I won't post it here, but it was a very personal thing I made the mistake of telling her about. Huge mistake. Now I wish I could take back everything I ever said to her.

Same as above. Who wants to know about how someone likes to have anal sex? Certainly not me.

Heck, even young boys in my college hold the door open for me, it's so sweet.

I have no kids, neither does my sister. We don't want them. After living with an abusive mother, we are afraid of passing it along. And we just have better things to do with our lives. But yes, some people do seem to think that there is someting "wrong" with a woman who decides she does not want children.

My brother's wife has had 3 children. And she has done nothing with her life but that....have children. Having a conversation with her, even on the telephone, is like conversing with a 9 year old. She has nothing interesting to say. Does nothing with her life and sends us hundreds of cards and pictures of my niece and newphew a year.

OMG! This is probably going to be politically incorrect, but I hate this too. If they are living and working here, just why the hell can they not learn our language?

Once I was working at a local water company. One of my jobs was taking orders from customers to either have their water turned off or turned on. Mexicans would call. A few of them could not speak English. So there was one man in particular who was speaking in Spanish, from Mexico no doubt. He just began spewing SPanish to me on the phone. I said politely "I don't speak SPanish". He yelled rudely in almost perfect English "why not?" So I said "because this is America, I am an American". And he said "oooooohhhhhh". And then I said "why don't you speak English" and I hung up on him. My 2 coworkers were sitting right there. And they were just as angry about it as I was. :wah: :-5
