Say What!!!!!!!!
We have all been out in public and seen some pretty unbelieveable (hope I spelled that right) stuff, what is the rudest thing you have ever seen or heard in public...........................

because i am a child advocate big time, the first thing i think of is the time i was in a convenience store and saw this woman buying herself a mountain dew and a bag of potatoe chips. i heard her two children ask her if they could have something....she responded with NO, you will get my car dirty...then the bitch got in her car , opened her drink and started eating her chips before she drove away. the kids sitting in the backseat watching her.

Say What!!!!!!!!
The thing that has offended me most was seeing some punks tearing the legs off a dead rabbit in the store parking lot to make their stupid girlfriends squeal. That was many years ago and I still remember those jerks.
That was probably not the kind of rudeness or offense you were going for though so I have a couple others:
Those hats that say "Liquor in the front, poker in the rear." Just vulgar.
That t shirt that was popular with some breeds of men some years ago. In huge letters on the front, it screamed "SHUT UP B*TCH!"
I have a real problem with anyone, *especially* a man who refers to any woman as a b*tch. I even have a prob with women who refer to themselves as such.
ETA: OOPS! I just saw what you wrote Gup. Never mind, my rant wasn't any reference to what you said. I am thinking of other instances.

Um..no? I don't report people for stuff. That's the adult version of...TATTLING and no one likes a rat fink!
