Morning Red...it's the 'middle' of the working week for me now I only work 3 days :)

Not busy at work so I'm trying to teach myself some stuff in Microsoft Word and Excel. ...mail merge and data bases etc.

12.30 I have an appointment for my Flu Injection which the company provides each year.

6pm round to my sons to put Lewis to bed and baby sit while his Mum goes to work.

Back home at 7.30 to mellow out....

I really miss that 'Doing christmassy stuff' with kids. My grandchildren are too old now apart from Lewis and he's 13 months old....maybe next year

I have 7 grandchildren (2 are step-grand daughters) from 18yrs to 13 months. The teenagers are all girls. ....then there's Jake and kai who are 9 and 10...then Lewis.

As for flu shots... they were supposed to be giving them out at work starting two weeks ago, but the shipment was never received. I wonder if that means there's going to be a shortage again this year. I'd rather give up my flu shot so that some old(er) person can get one.

sorry for being a numpty SC but thanksgiving's always intrigued me, is it the same as ur xmas celebrations? with a tree etc?

Pretty name - the little'un in the pic is grandson Josh (20months). I have two grown up step-daughters and a nearly 12 year old called Becky.

I'm known as variously Immy, I girl (started by Jimbo), Ichick (started by Cher) or by my real name Helen. Take your pick or make up your own - I don't mind!

Hope your cold is better soon but don't give it to me!:-6

Good morning to you Red, I am generally one of the last to experience morning being so far West.....

Sorry to hear about your cold, drink tea, with honey, lemon and a shot of whiskey hehehehe that is what my granny used to feed us when we were kids.

Have a great day mate.

Hi Red, sorry your days not going to great, mine has been HELL, started my new job, nearly all my colleagues are Polish and I couldn't understand the accent properly!!!! Then the girl training me left her pen lid on the side and without thinking I bit it and snapped it in front of her:-5 :-5

Then to top it off I had to move my vehicle along with some other people, I started to reverse then looked in front to see I'd just missed the Managing Director, think they are worried about me returning tomorrow:D

I am going back tomorrow and see how I feel after then, the girl that was training me, kept calling these Polish guys by the same name, so I said to her "that name must be really popular, I can't believe they are all called it" to which she replied once she stoped laughing "It means 'MY BITCH'", I must admit I found that really funny:D
