Got A Job at Disneyland Today!

Today I got a job at Disneyland. It was a long process. It took 4 hours for the entire hiring process. I asked to be placed in "Attractions" which are the rides. And I am working in the "Critter Country". A friend where I live also works there in the same area. It isn't full-time, but at least I won't be depending on the agencies any more. Their work is too sporadic. So I have my orientation on Saturday.

Funny thing I noticed while in this hiring and interviewing process. They were hiring and taking the younger kids first. I am no longer a youngster. But I am not old either. But they all went into their interviews before I was called into an office. My friend who is my age also got placed in the same Critter Country area. I also told the interviewer that I'd be open to retail or the hotel desk clerk jobs. She said there were no jobs open in those departments. Hmmmm. :-3

Yes, as far as I know, after 90 days. And everything is so high priced there. Along with the stores and eating places around Disneyland neighborhood.

I'm not totally sure, but I know it will be working on the rides. Like in boats, or strapping people into the rides there. My friend said she was rowing a canoe. But it really does sound like fun, being outside in the fresh air. And getting to move around physically. And even just being in that environment. I am really looking forward to the orientation as we are going to be shown around the park. !!!:p

I am actually looking forward to starting this job on Saturday. Just being in that park setting would be nice instead of sitting cramped in an office in front of a monitor.

The ride that used to make me sick was the teacups. I cannot wait to go on the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion again. And of course, the Matterhorn.
