Getting Put in My Place on Another Forum

The other forum where I also post has a user who is online there, posting 24/7. She loves to put me in my place by bragging all about everything she has in the context of what I do not have. I find this very rude, in poor taste and even vulgar at times.

She also loooves to talk about drinking vodka. It has been going on for so long the past couple of years that I've come to the conclusion (before also) that I think this person is an alcoholic and an Internet addict. Even though she insists that she has a full life.

She has posted a list of all the things that she has and how her life is so lovely.

I've noticed that she thinks nothing of hurting others especially me. And when I try and point out what she does, it seems there is an entire group of users who run to her defense. From what I know of alcoholics, they are in denial, of their disease and of how the hurt others. They also have a group of people around them who "enable" them. I swear that is how it looks over there.

For about the 3rd time, I have decided not to continue a flame war and just pm'd her in private and pm'd the owner of the forum to tell him, ....again, that I am leaving.

How can a person possibly live a real life, if they are on a forum like.....every day, all day almost and even sometimes at night? It just isn't possible I think. :-5

your right to ignore it saffron, but what a shame you had to leave because of some daft tart making a nuisance of herself, i hope the site admistrator gives her a warning or something, let us know if you get a mail back id love to know what happens if anything

poor you but on forums as in real there are nice people like me :-6

but there are other people who are nasty they have nothing funny to say nothing kind to say no kind words to offer ,no prayers when peoples loved ones are ill , in fact the only thing they can do to make themselves the centre of attention is to be as nasty as they can , its like the plaground thing you get your nice people who are everybodys friend and a little click that have to stay together and be nasty coz no one else likes them and all they have are nasty friends that are nasty and they have to follow each other if they dont they know their nasty friends will turn on them in a second and be nasty to them

have nothing to do with this person ignore them and only answer nice people that say nice things you will be a lot happier if you do , they will soon get fed up and move on to their next victem to be nasty too :-6

Here is the link, it has turned very sarcastic as it usually does. I feel sorry for her. She does this every time I question her or her drinking. She lives in Scotland, takes vacations in Egypt in Luxor. Used to have a "flat" in Luxor. She is a schoolteacher. And looves to brag about her lifestyle and what mine isn't. And there is nothing that anybody does. Even the owner who used to be my friend, does nothing.

And now she has started another thread saying so sorry, in sarcasm. And there is a long dissertation about everything she has, compared to what I don't have. What I don't get is, why or how she spends so much of her life on this YE forum, and yet claims to have this wonderful full life with everything. I often wonder about her husband and kids and what they think of a mother who is on the net so much. I pm'd her about it. That is why I have gotten this attack now. She does it to me all the time, whenever I call her out.:sneaky:

Know what? I actually stopped posting there for a long while. And I am far too embarrassed there to let on that I am in a church shelter. I mean that would give her and all of them all the ammunition they need. Obviously I cannot be myself.

Hunny don't tell them a dam thing you don't want them to know - its none of their business. Just because someone tells you their life story online doesn't mean their telling you the truth . Don't be fooled somebody who is genuinely nice doen't need to constantly remind people that they do good deeds and are nice to others they just do things without the need for being rewarded and patted on the back and to be honest if they really had a full life you really wouldn't see them because they would be offline doing other things

No, I don't manage it. There is a Pastor and a man named Will who is pretty much in charge of it. He and I are seeing each other (Will). But it is a very hard place to try and live while trying to have a relationship. And there are other issues involved. Nevertheless, I am saving money, in school and working in order to move into my own apartment again.

Exactly. Apparently a few of these people have had the time and money to travel and meet each other. But I cannot say that I'd like to meet any of them, .....now. The owner of the forum is a Christian Egyptian who lives in Cairo. He and I have chatted on Yahoo Messenger a few times late at night. He is really the only person of that forum who I'd like to meet.

Anyway that's my title I worked and trained hard for that title and no one is going to take it away from me!
As far as her alcohlism.....I met her on yet another Egyptian forum. There she was called out for it many times. And there were even pictures posted online of her shenanigans. So she is also frequenting another forum 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That isn't the only forum she is addicted to. She seems to have much much free time on her hands, while making fun of those like myself who do not have the time to waste making off-topic comments and chit chatting with those who have so much time to waste of their oh-so-lovely lives.
