Time to talk.

Post by Galbally »

Interesting, I am not a great fan of President Bush like many people, and I always thought that the Iraq war was a badly miscalculated policy from day one, but I do give him credit for instigating this report, and I do hope that the crisis that is Iraq will force Western goveremnts and middle east governemnts to come up with a better overall strategy for the middle east in general. One thing that I certainly do agree on, is that at the core at a lot of the issues in the middle east is the Palestianian question, and it has to be taken more seriously by the U.S. in particular, if it was possible to reach some sort of equitable settlement that gives the Palestinians a proper viable state at last, and allow Israel to be secure a lot of the other problems in the region would be much easier to make progress on.

[QUOTE=Scrat;470074]Hopefully we still have not lost the ability. America really needs to accept the fact that we're not the biggest and brightest in the world anymore. It's called competition. It's a different world from what we lived in 20 or even 10 years ago.

Thats pretty arrogant to say 10 - 20 years ago that you were :-2
