Whilst your kids are growing up they always want you to buy the latest c.d & latest d.v.d, something way cool ive noticed recently with mine 20 & 17 & out working is they always buy them as soon as they hit the shops, great eh? saves old mum a fortune :D

What other things have you noticed you dont have to get now because they do?

Andy got some hair gel in a xmas set last year, as he has no hair he assumed it was shower gel, after he had covered himself in it he starts shouting to me from the bathroom that - this shower gel wont come off, was pretty funny :D

I only have one that is working (17 year old), and I haven't been able to enjoy him buying his own stuff too much yet. He's saving all of his money for a car, so Mom still pays for everything else for now...once we get the wheels...then hopefully it will get better. I bought a used truck and it got rolled within 3 months of us owning it...YIKES...speaking of car insurance!! OUCH!!!

I'm looking forward to when all 3 of them have jobs, the middle one promises to become a millionaire and first priority is his MOMMA!! :-6

my middle one got in a wreck last november.got life flighted to savanna. he broke his leg, three vertebrae in his back. his pelvis, and his tail bone. not to mention the concussion. he sounded like a broken tape recorder. kept saying the same thing over and over . and he totaled out my jeep. i am just grateful he is alive. he got throwed over fifty feet out of the jeep as it rolled end over end down the street. The wreck wasn't his fault.

Wow Guppy, I'm glad he's okay now...I'm sorry to hear that...I cried like a baby when arriving on the scene of my son's accident...He was standing on road, completely un-harmed (one little scratch from a bush in woods), truck was TOTALLED...crushed actually...The policeman was wonderful, gave me a minute to collect myself...I just hugged and hugged his neck!! He definately had Angels guarding him!!

Thanks wendy. The cop who called me told me to go to the er. they didn't want me on the accident site to see. he told me Derek was alive. that was all i cared about at the moment. I can survive anything as long as they aren't dead. Yep, your son had an angel watching him that day. i really believe we do have them. I am glad your son didn't get hurt. :-4 I am a nurse . as soon as i saw him at the er and did my assessment and knew it was not anything permanent. he could feel all his extemities, i was fine.

This is the price we pay for having teenagers. doesn;t sunny have alot to look forward to?

OUCH!! That just scares me looking at it, been very Blessed in the few accidents I've been involved in and of course my son's accident...EXTREMELY blessed. I flipped a car when I was 17 on a sheet of Ice and I believe 'til this day that the man that pulled me out of the car was an ANGEL...never saw him before or again, and no one else saw him ...but I was on the ground within minutes after the accident...without a scratch...so yes, Guppy I'm a believer!! And I agree, as long as they are alive and can recover...I can take it, been very blessed in that department too, No broken bones...LOTS of scratches....a few stitches, but nothing serious...So thankful!!
